Dec 3 Q4: Algorithms

1. Write a simple, one-sentence definition of an algorithm (in the general sense, not the computer or mathematical sense). Give an example from your real life where you use an ‘algorithm’ on a regular basis.
2. What is pseudocode? Why is it useful to programmers?
3. Name and briefly describe a pictorial or graphical way of representing an algorithm. (Hint: think back to what we have done in IST lessons over the past few weeks.)
